It is good to stay in Roermond (Remunj)
Roermond is a beautiful old city that was a wealthy Hanseatic city and trading center in the Middle Ages. The city is located in the heart of Limburg, on the banks of the Roer and Meuse rivers. The Roer flows past the city center, adding to the city's charm. In recent years, Roermond has become a popular destination for a wonderful weekend getaway or holiday. Besides the Maasplassen lakes and the historic center with Christoffel Cathedral, the Munster Church, and three beautiful squares, Roermond boasts the Designer Outlet Shopping Center, where people from all over the world come to hunt for bargains and treat themselves.
